First produced in 2000, it was immediately included in the pantheon of Italian wines; the 2006 vintage won the gold medal at the prestigious Decanter World Wine Awards competition.
The grapes used for the namesake wine of the estate are Syrah, Petit Verdot and a choice of varying other red grapes. Production is an exclusive number of 7,000 bottles per year.
It carries the name of the estate; the three roses on the label represent the rose bushes growing in front of each row the vineyards, being used as an early indicator of potential diseases which might attack the vineyards and can therefore be treated in time.
sandy soil, strong presence of rough gravel, good presence of organic substance, macro and micro elements, exposition east-west. Contributes to assure excellent complexity to the grapes and the wines.
